Tree Health and Safety Assessments
We like to work closely with our clients to achieve the best possible outcomes, so we are on call to answer any tree health, risk, suitability, planning related questions anytime free of charge.
We do charge a small amount for site visits if required, but we try our hardest to explore all options for solutions over the phone where possible.
Pre-Purchase Property Appraisals
Investing in real estate is a substantial financial commitment, and as with any investment, minimizing risks is paramount.
This scenario is a common occurrence:
"A client invests in a property envisioning their dream home or a multi-unit development. They submit plans to the council, only to discover that the council does not endorse the removal of a tree situated prominently on their property. Consequently, the client is compelled to sell due to the project's non-viability."
Our goal is to furnish you with a well-informed perspective on tree-related considerations and probabilities, empowering you to make a more informed decision.
Arborist Reports
Arborist reports are a key requirement of any planning application whether it be to remove a problematic tree, build your dream home, extend on an existing home or assess impact related damage potentially caused by a tree.
Our qualified experts will guide you through the process, provide honest advice and help you achieve the best possible outcome for your project.
Root Investigations and Impact Assessments
Sometimes required when building within close proximity to trees or when investigating tree root-related property damage, we use either Hydro-Excavation or Air Spade (both non-destructive techniques), allowing us to map the exact location of roots to determine whether or not the tree will be affected or has affected and explore options and building techniques to work in with the existing roots and/or write legal documents discussing observations and affect.
We also use this technique to determine whether often necessary civil works (typically excavation or boring works) will impact the stability of the tree and provide advice on whether the tree can be retained or if removal is required.
The investigations also look at impacts or potential impacts of roots and/or canopy growth to existing buildings and infrastructure to ensure the right tree is in the right position and your assets are protected.
Achitectural Colaborations
We love to work in close collaboration with our architectural/drafting/building partners to find the most seamless way to either work in with government regulations or incorporate exiting mature or proposed trees into designs to ensure long term successful visions and co-habitation.
Trees have the potential to create irreplaceable value to landscapes which we are passionate about exploring with you.
Tree Management Solutions
Tree Management Plans are a great way to manage risks, liabilities and promoting healthy/less costly, tree populations with particular regard to medium and large tree populations (20+ trees)
A Management plan allows you to determine all of the tree related risks, allocate them with risk ratings and priorities, and combine them into a management schedule. This allows for cost allocation over a period of time whilst being as pro-active as possible, focusing resources on trees presenting the highest-level risk first.
We specialise in Schools (Public and Private), Golf Courses (Public and Private) and Body Corporates large and small.
We have lots of different options to work in with budgets and reporting requirements so please call us today to see how we can help.

Tree Recommendations and Planting
This is one of the most valuable steps you can take when planning your garden.
Certain trees, although beautiful, can have significant costly impacts such as root damage on surrounding infrastructure or grow too large for a particular space, or have known structural issues that could prove problematic in areas of regular occupancy so please give our specialists a call to determine whether or not your plan would be a suitable long term solution.
Most major tree structure/health related problems are caused by poor stock quality, poor planting location or poor planting practices. As nurseries propagate most of their own stock, and are run as a business, there is a direct relationship between time and money spent on stock and financial returns. Certain genetic issues (many of which are structural) can be mitigated in the propagation stages, tolerances to various soil types mitigated through exposure, pruning of co-dominant stems and girdling roots. If these are left untreated or ignored, these issues are compounded later in life resulting in high management costs and reduced life expectancies.
We only use reputable suppliers with high levels of quality control and proven track records to source our stock, and plant them for you in the most beneficial way for the trees long term success.
Investing in the right product in the first place can save you thousands in maintenance cost and headaches down the track.
