Our owner and director Tim Chatfield, has over 20 years of invaluable industry experience that he is more than happy to share with our valued customers. His roots in horticulture run deep, with a family tree deeply connected to the industry. His grandfather, a founding professor at Melbourne University's Burnley Campus, coupled his academic contributions with owning and operating a highly reputable plant nursery alongside his wife. His mother has spent numerous years greening her thumbs in the same nursery, immersing herself in the industry's intricacies and the nuances of her beloved plants. Furthermore, his extended family owned a large wholesale nursery, supplying to major plant retailers across Australia while imparting their wisdom by teaching horticulture at a local university.
